B&T are a collaborative duo based in Los Angeles working primarily in video, performance, and installation. By romanticizing their collaborative processes, they create poetic portraits of their collective interests. Their investigation as performing bodies in space has created a trajectory of performances and installations with melodic accompaniment that creates a world that beautifully blends the mundane and the absurd. As performance for video became their sole focus, they happily embraced the colorful drama that this graphic new world could provide. After years of silent video making as the “glitzy mutes”, B&T find a new voice in pieces such as Timeless and Finally Famous, and a new direction in their feature-length, narrative dramedy, Regulars.
